NYC's 7th Annual Pillow Fight is here and its going to take place in Washington Square Park. Pillows fly and bunnies ears soar as you converge for a giant urban pillow fight with thousands upon thousands of New Yorkers! Swing and whack as you evade pillow-wielding assailants wearing bunny ears and toting chocolate eggs. Bring a soft pillow and wait for the signal. Pillow fight!

10. Easter Eggs: A Family Eggstravaganza. Cathedral of St John the Divine, 1047 Amsterdam Avenue. Children will build a nest with twigs, feathers and clay for the eggs they decorate, along with a reading of the children’s book Rechenka’s Eggs. $8 for each child and adult pair. Bring two hard-boiled eggs to decorate. Two workshops on Saturday, March 27th, 10 am – 12pm and 2 pm – 4 pm.
8. Easter at Bohemian Hall. Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden, 29-19 24th Avenue, Queens. Yes, we said it, take your kids to a beer garden. On Sunday, April 4th, starting at noon, this Czech beer garden will host an Easter egg hunt at 2 pm, egg decorating, and a special kid-friendly menu, and to top it off they will have live entertainment by the Slovak music group Pajtasi from 1 pm. The event is free, food must be purchased, and donations are welcome for the Czech and Slovak School. This event is sure to please children and adults.
7. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. The Cellar Grill at Macy’s Herald Square, Sixth Avenue between 34th and 35th Streets. Join the Easter bunny for breakfast, face painting, photos and more at Macy’s. Kids over 2 are $25.95, and kids under are free. Occurs Saturday, March 27th at 9 am. 6. Easter Celebration in Carl Schurz Park. East End Avenue and 84th Street. Celebrate the 5th Annual Egg Hunt at Carl Schurz Park on Saturday, March 27th. 5. Holiday Easter Eggs and Easter Egg Collage at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. 212 West 83rd Street. This event will teach your children the meanings of Easter symbols. Children also get a chance to decorate a papier-mâché egg or an egg collage for Easter. General museum admission of $10 is due for this all day event on Sunday, April 4, 10 am to 5 pm. 4. Brooklyn Heights Easter Egg Hunt. On the Brooklyn Heights Promenade – Pierrepont Playground, Columbia Heights and Pierrepont Streets. This free event in Brooklyn has been an annual tradition for the neighborhood, with their fun Easter egg hunt, treats, candy, balloons and a bake sale to benefit the playground. Begins Saturday, April 3rd at 10 am.
3. Easter Weekend Greenwich Village History and Dessert Tour. Join this walking tour around Greenwich Village. Learn the history of Washington Square Arch, St. Luke in the Fields Church, Bob Dylan, Minetta Lane, Patchin Place while stopping by dessert shops along the way. This fun, unique Easter events occurs on Saturday, April 3rd and Sunday, April 4th at 2 pm for $22 per person, which includes the sweets. 2. Annual Easter Festival at St. Nicholas Park. 135th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue. This annual NYC Easter festival features a visit from the Easter bunny, face-painting, Easter egg decorating, an Easter egg hunt, arts and crafts, and more. 1. Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival. Fifth Avenue from 49th Street to 57th Street. This is the main adult Easter event in New York City, full of colorful spring costumes and bonnets. There are no floats at this festival, it is simply a walking parade of festive, extravagant, pastel, flowery costumes along fifth avenue. A fun, unique and free event on Sunday, April 4th at 10 am.
